Teburu system Updates & Upgrades

The Teburu core technology is based on few and simple elements, engineered to be reliable and durable. At the same time the system has been engineered to be open to wired and wireless hardware expansions.

In case of bug fixes and upgrades, the Teburu Core, Dice and Teburu LED Ring firmware can be easily updated for free inside any game app. Updates are mandatory when identified.

• Teburu Core

During the setup of a game, while connected to the internet and after successfully connecting the Teburu Core and confirming the screen, the system will search for a new Firmware update.

Following this check, a screen will be presented with the information to carry out the update. Before activating the update mode, make sure not to turn off the Teburu Core and do not close the game app during the process.

Once the process has been activated, the application will show the installation progress of the new Firmware.

During this process the color of the Teburu Core lights will slowly flash blue. Wait for the operation to complete and then proceed - the system will reconnect to the updated Teburu Core again.

• Teburu Dice

During the Teburu Dice setup screen, the system identifies the presence of any dice that need to be updated, reporting it with the result “FW ↑”.

WARNING: Before proceeding, remove any Smart Miniature or Teburu Dice from above the recharging slot of the Teburu Core.

Moving on to the next screen, it will be necessary to roll all the dice. The operation will be carried out one die at a time.

To start updating a specific die, simply place it on top of the Teburu Core as if you wanted to recharge it, with the larger number facing up (6 on a D6, 10 on a D10).

Once the die has been placed, the system will recognize the die and the update can be carried out by pressing the displayed button.

Before activating the update mode, make sure not to turn off the Teburu Core and do not close the game app during the process.

Unlike the other components, the die will have to be rebooted and restarted in Firmware update mode. Wait until the process completes - it can take more than 1 minute.

Once the die update is complete, repeat the process for each die that has been recognized and requires updating.

• Teburu LED Ring

To update the Firmware of the Teburu LED Ring, it is recommended to connect it to a power source using a USB-C charging cable. Otherwise, make sure that the Teburu LED Ring charge is at least above 50%.

During the Teburu LED Ring setup, let the system connect to it, then continue. The system will now search for a new Firmware update. 

Following this check, a screen will be presented with the information to carry out the update.

Before activating the update mode, make sure not to turn off the Teburu Core, DO NOT remove the Boss-sized Miniature from the Teburu LED Ring and do not close the game app during the process.

Once the process has been activated, the application will show the installation progress of the new Firmware. During this process the color of the Teburu Core will slowly flash blue.

Wait for the operation to complete and then proceed.
